The holiday season is officially underway in South Hempstead as the South Hempstead Fire Department kicks off its annual Christmas Tree Sale. Beginning November 28th and continuing through December 14th, residents can purchase fresh Christmas trees while supporting their local volunteer firefighters.

The sale will take place at the fire department, with hours designed to make shopping convenient for families and individuals preparing for the holidays. The hours of operation are:

  • Thursdays & Fridays: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Sundays: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Community members are encouraged to stop by early, as supplies are limited. The annual tree sale has become a cherished tradition in South Hempstead, offering residents an opportunity to bring home a festive, fresh-cut tree while contributing to the fire department’s community support and service efforts.
