SHFD Announces Annual Christmas Tree Sale-SOLD OUT-THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
The South Hempstead Fire Department is once again spreading holiday cheer with its annual Christmas Tree Sale, running November 28th through December 14th. Community members are encouraged to stop by during designated hours—while supplies last.
Free “Stop the Bleed” & CPR Training Offered by SHFD
The South Hempstead Fire Department will host a free hands-on “Stop the Bleed” and CPR training session on September 20th at 11:00 AM. Community members are encouraged to preregister and learn vital life-saving skills.
Working Fire – Willis Street, South Hempstead
The fire was placed under control within 30 minutes, and the cause remains under investigation. The residence was reportedly vacant at the time.
