SHFD Thanks Outgoing Chief Joseph Sadler, Welcomes Chief Michael Spatz

The South Hempstead Fire Department extends its sincere appreciation to Chief Joseph Sadler for his six years of service in the Chiefs Office. Over the past two years, Chief Sadler has led the department as Chief of Department, demonstrating unwavering dedication, leadership, and commitment to both the firefighters and the community.

As Chief Sadler concludes his tenure, we thank him for his countless hours of service and wish him some much-needed rest! His leadership has left a lasting impact, and we are grateful for his contributions to the department.

Stepping into the role for 2025 is Ex-Chief Michael Spatz, who will serve as Chief of Department. We congratulate Chief Spatz on his new position and look forward to his leadership in the year ahead.
